A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Nora and I am a college student learning to be an actor here in Chicago. I have several friends who work as nannies in the city and have spoken about how wonderful of a job and experience it is. I have two siblings and have always loved children. I eventually would love to work in children's theater or theater education in an elementary school- like my mom does! I know that I don't have much paid work with children under my belt but don't be fooled, I have had quite a bit of unpaid volunteer work at elementary schools and my church. I'd love to see if I'm a good fit for your family!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered at a school back home in Minnesota and helped with the elementary school's production of The Lion King and Matilda. I've helped out in the classroom with grades k-5th. I've also been able to help with the nursery at my church back home, helping care for up to 15 kids at a time with a few other helpers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing craft projects with kids, playing with their favorite toys, and reading books. I also love having dance parties and playing games. Durring the summer, I love being able to go outside and go on walks and to the park/playgrounds.

My experience with special needs children...

I have minimal experience with children with special needs but I would be willing and able to learn about each kid and meet their needs.
