More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a preschool teacher at the Learning Village Preschool from [phone number hidden]. Floater (got to be in 2yr old classes up to the 4/5 yr old classes. I also became an assistant teacher in the VPK class. Then I worked at Grace Preschool from [phone number hidden]. Where I started in the nursery class and then assistant teacher in VPK (4/5 yr old), to finally a lead position in those classes. I had 11 4/5 yr old in my class solo. My last preschool was Faith Academy and I worked there from [phone number hidden]. I mostly did VPK. But I helped in nursery and 2/3 yr old rooms during lunch, and naptime. At all three institutes I had the opportunity during afterschool or summer to help lead and coordinate school age programs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Art, board games, reading, exploring in the backyard, cooking (even if its "ants on a log". Celery, peanut butter, and raisins.), building with legos, playing peek a boo, making funny faces, braiding hair, playing pretend, watching nature.

My experience with special needs children...

I am familiar with children with ADHD and ADD as well as individuals with SPD. I have had some experience with Autism and children who have cochlear implants.
