Hi! My name is Nya. I was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia to a huge family which means I have lots of experience caring for the kids in my family. I’m currently enrolled in school to become an x- ray tech in pediatrics. Im super organized and have kept a schedule of everything i’ve done since the 6th grade. I love themed activities and to keep the littles busy and know how to teach while making it fun. My personality is very warm and friendly and I am easy to talk to. I love to cook and have dinner with my family. Being late to anything is a super big pet peeve of mine, so if I have to pleasure of working with you punctuality is the least of your worries. I love to plan themed activities, indoor and outdoor. Crafts that littles can keep, brain breaks and more. I love to turn every moment into an experience! Im also a big kid at heart so Im definitely not too cool to play outside, bake cookies, or grasp a teachable learning moment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is that kids are people too! They need to be heard and seen. Spending time and making memories at that fresh age is so very important to me. Being a role model for the kids is vital and impactful for helping them develop to be everything they need to be in this life. Not only is this about the kids but you super hero parents as-well! Being able to help you guys out is a blessing in itself. So thats the most important part to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience in caring for a child who has autism. My nephew Brayden is our family’s pride and joy. I’ve pretty much helped my sister with him since he was born he is 4 now. I help her with him when he gets back from speech and A.B.A. Being able to care for him really puts into perspective how each child who has autism is different and extraordinary in every way. I also learning from my sister who has been a B.C.B.A for 2 years is super helpful.
