My little brother is ten now, but he was diagnosed with DiGeorge syndrome when he was just a few months old. It definitely brought challenges, but it also taught me a lot. I learned how to communicate with him in ways that worked for him, and I was always right there helping my mom when things felt overwhelming or unfamiliar. It shaped my patience, my understanding, and the way I care for others.
