My experience with special needs children...
I’ve cared for a young boy with down syndrome and helped a family friend with her young daughter that had a condition where she couldn’t walk, talk, or eat anymore. So i was there to support her when her other caretaker had to take a personal day. I’ve also as mentioned, helped my grandmas school for 2 weeks with children that were on the autistic spectrum.

I had gotten a call from the little girls that i used to take care of and thought it was odd because i had just left their house and had a discussion with the parents so when i answered they were begging me to come back because they missed me and i had forgotten to tell their fish goodbye.
