**Looking to Nanny Share?? I have been working with children over 42 years as: Respite Care Provider working with special children and adults, Head Start Preschool & Behavior Coach, Preschool teacher, Y-Care Site Director working with 25-30 children K-6th grade, and a nanny for many families. As a nanny I was lucky enough to work with some children as early as 2 weeks old.
I have references, am background checked, First Aid and CPR Certified, have my own transportation and Food Handlers Card.
**I am currently a nanny for a family with a 2 year old boy and they offered to nanny share at their house. What this means is that you would bring your child to their house and I will reduce rates. The family is very kind and well known, and obviously would meet you in their home.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

While working for the YMCA I was lucky enough to fill in at times at our preschool at the local Community College, SPSCC, which had 4 weeks to 5 years old children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts, singing, reading, spending time outside exploring and having pretend time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Listening. I listen to what the parents need and what the child needs. (Safety is most important, but thought it was obvious)

My experience with special needs children...

I have years of experience in working with children and adults with special needs. I was a Respite Care Provider for the State, now called Home Health Care Aid, going into homes with children and adults who needed help. Depending on the age, we worked on issues they struggled with, such as: simple issues like hand washing and brushing teeth to more severe issues like emotional control and self-regulation.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I come into the home and the kids run up to me, so happy to see me because they love and trust me with their lives. Children are good judges of character, and they always get a good read on me.
