Hi! Im Olivia - the nanny who remembers which cup is the favorite cup, which snack gets rejected every Tuesday, and which tiny problem is actually a very big deal when you’re five. I’ve spent over four years learning that great childcare is less about filling every minute with activities and more about knowing when to be silly, when to hold a boundary, when to give space, and when a child just needs someone fully present. I’m naturally helpful, so if the kids are settled, I’m usually finding something useful to do around the house rather than waiting to be given a task. I’ve cared for newborns through elementary-age kids, including multiple children at once, and I’m comfortable with the messy, loud, unpredictable parts of family life. I care a lot about creating a home environment that feels calm, fun, and genuinely easier for the parents when I’m there. My goal is never to feel like hired help. I want to feel like someone the whole family is relieved to have walk through the door.

I’ve worked for two families professionally both as a nanny and household manager totaling a little over 4 years of nanny experience.
I also volunteered in Guatemala, where I helped provide meals and care for children. That experience strengthened my ability to connect with kids from different backgrounds

I create engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, confidence, and healthy development while making each child feel safe, loved, and supported. Children may not remember every activity we did together, but they’ll always remember how they felt. The most important part of being a nanny is creating an environment where children feel safe, valued, heard, and genuinely loved. Everything else grows from that foundation.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments wasn’t a big event, it was when one of the children I cared for ran to the window every morning to watch for my car. Knowing they felt safe, excited, and loved enough to look forward to our days together reminded me why I love being a nanny.
