I often shadow my mom at her job as an elementary school teacher. One summer, I babysat for a family with a newborn. I also have a younger sister, whom I was entrusted with whenever my parents left the house. For petsitting, I have my own dog and have pet sat for cats.

What matters most to me is maintaining a safe, but fun, learning environment. I think it is important for children to read and explore the natural world around them in a safe way. My view point is all about balance. For example, I think it is important for children to play outside and to watch artistic, family-friendly movies (such as Studio Ghibli).

Field days at my mom's school are always fun! We include activities like bubbles and chalk drawings. Around the holidays, we build and decorate gingerbread houses to test the children's building knowledge.
