Although I currently work as a lead infant teacher, I have also worked as a toddler and preschool assistant teacher. On top of that I have floated throughout every classroom at both of my centers. Overall I have cared from children as young as 3 months old, to school-aged children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
There’s a wide variety of activities I enjoy doing with the kids; from art projects to dance parties, I enjoy it all!
I have a portfolio with a bunch of art projects I have done in my infant classroom. I love process based art and letting the children get messy and do it all themselves.
I also enjoy imaginative play and coming up with fun ways to help children learn through their creativity. Kids pick up on so much through engaging in this type of play, it’s great for teaching (age-appropriate) real world experiences!
And I also love outdoor activities. We can build mud pies, and make potions, and explore the world outside!

The most important part about being a nanny is the relationship I have not only with the kids, but with the parents as well. It is super important to me that I build a good bond with the parents I work for, so we can work together to create a positive and stable environment for the child.

Although I’ve never nannied before, I will say one of my favorite moments as a daycare teacher was in my toddler classroom when a mom told me at a Monday drop off that her son had been so excited all weekend to come back to school and see his two teachers (me and my lead teacher). It was a moment where I got to see how special the relationship I have with these kids are.
