I am 24 and I just graduated with my Masters in psychology! I'm vaccinated and very Covid-cautious. I am an energetic and loving caregiver who has worked with kids with ages ranging from 2 months to 16 years old. I love doing crafts, baking, taking kids on nature walks, and teaching kids creative ways to engage with the world around them. A major reason I've loved caring for children is being able to incorporate concepts and strategies I've learned in my education to promoting a healthy and safe environment for children to grow and explore. I've cared for children with a range of abilities and support needs. For the past 2 years I've been a nanny for a child with autism who is also nonverbal. Learning strategies to communicate and help figure out how to manage his more aggressive tendencies has been challenging, but highly rewarding! Every child is different and I am dedicated to learning what I can do to foster their growth and show them compassion!
