Besides working for children of known connections, Ive also worked as a TA in a child development class at my high school where I would take care of students and teachers children throughout the day. As well as working as a lifeguard where I would ensure the safety of children from the ages of 1 and up.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy reading books, building forts, dancing, singing, board games, hide and seek, dolls, action figures, dress up and such. On sunny days I love playing child safe water games like playing in the sprinklers, water balloons, kiddie pools and much more.

The most important part of babysitting to me is the joy and fulfillment I experience in working with children. Knowing that I have the privilege of positively impacting their growth makes me feel intense purpose and gratitiude.

When I was 14 I was baby sitting a pair of siblings, 7 and 4 years old. At the time the 4 year old was playing with building blocks that kept falling over. When he got frustrated and started throwing the blocks I took that as a teaching moment to show him how to deal with anger and frustrating situations. I encouraged him to breathe in and out and suggested that we could work together to re-build the tower. That moment is so sentimental to me because it taught me the importance of patience, resilience, and empathy in helping children navigate life's challenges. It also reminded me of the impact we can have as caregivers by turning everyday moments into opportunities for growth and learning.
