I have interned in an elementary school classroom (1st grade), have worked at a preschool for about 10 months (ages 2-5), and in Special Ed now for about a year and a half. I have also been babysitting since I was 14 and nannied for 2 families full time in the past.

I am currently working in a Special Ed classroom full time specifically working with students on the Autism Spectrum. I have also been a 1:1 for a student who had both Autism and Down syndrome. Overall, I have about 2 years of special needs experience
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memory as a nannying is teaching two boys how to cook (with supervision)! After we had a total water play day outside with squirters, water balloons, and the hose. I’ll never forget the smiles and laughter we all had!
