A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Olivia. I am a quiet, respectful and responsible 25 year old. I have recently moved to Huntington Beach, my Fiancé and I are working to establish ourselves here. I’ve always felt like I was a part of the families I have babysat/nannied for. I’m hoping to find that here. I have had many babysitting jobs through out high-school and some college. The babysitting job that lasted the longest was for a set of twins, one boy and one girl. I babysat for them from 5 years old until they we’re turning 13. I babysat for them twice a week plus special occasions.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve babysat for a couple of my neighbors families ever since I was 15. I babysat for a pair of twins for 7 years, I started babysitting for their family when the kids were 5 years old. I work best with young children and pre-teens. I also worked for Sage Services last year, it is an amazing company which works with people of all different developmental disabilities. I worked with 4 people in their homes, I drove them to appointments, the grocery store and anywhere else they would like to go. I made breakfast, lunch and dinner for some, and I even did overnights for some. I got great experience in caregiving working for Sage.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to go to the beach, I’ve played beach volleyball since I was a kid. I’ve taken kids on hikes to the park, bike rides, the movies, shopping, the grocery store etc.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for special needs adults when I worked for Sage Services in Ventura last year. I have volunteered in my mom’s classroom of emotionally disturbed students trauma. I’ve always wanted to work with children with special needs.
