I worked as a daycare teacher and early childhood teacher, I was involved in Knight pals for 4 years, a club where we get to know the special needs members of our community and form friendships

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy hands-on learning, I have studied Montessori and belive a child needs outdoor time along with positive and gentle redirection. I enjoy doing crafts with the children I have cared for, going on walks, and swimming.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had a nanny until the age of 16 and from a young age, I was able to sense if they cared about me or the perks that their job involved. In high school I worked in childcare and decided to pursue further, for the time being, I know that being a nanny requires patience, creative ideas on the spot, and most importantly validating the child and fulfilling their needs.

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have any qualified training in special needs, I only participated in a club where I interacted and bonded with special needs peers in my area.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was a temporary nanny for a family in my area, due to the father only needing 6 months of care for business relations pertaining to his company. The youngest who was 3 years old, comes up to me and points out my nail polish and goes "oh you know what styles is." he was quite the character. Along with him telling me, he will pee on me if I don't give him extra snacks during the time I was potty training him
