Activities I enjoy doing with children...
One of my favorite things to do to with children is set up a scavenger hunt! While posting post-it notes around the house with riddles, we have to run around the house and figure out where the next clue is until they find the "treasure" which could be candy, a meal, or one of their favorite activities. I love arts and crafts, coloring, going to the park or even on a car ride for the fun of it.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me about being a nanny is being active in the children's lives with respect and learning. Caring for them through meals, teaching, spending time with them and following through with how their parents raise them. It's important to me that the children are well taken care of!

I have cared for autistic teens, autistic 3-4 year olds, and also took Partner P.E. in high school.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The sweetest moment I remember is of a young boy who was on the spectrum, would never let me leave when it was time for me to go. He would grab onto me, run after me, or would stand outside watching me leave. It was so tough saying goodbye every time because of it!
