It’s important to love what you do. In anything you do, but especially when working with kids. I love kids and that comes across by how I interact with them and make them feel. When you genuinely love what you do, people can sense that and kids are the exact same way. Keeping them safe is obviously the most important thing always, but creating a genuine connection with them and making them feel safe is so very important.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My funniest nanny moment was when the kids hid my shoes so I couldn’t leave and I had to borrow their mom’s shoes to go home. They went to bed before showing me where they hid them. LOL
