A little bit about me

I have been working in childcare for a little over a year now and love working with the kids. I am wanting to transition into more privatized care to be more one on one with kids to help them develop. My favorite part of working with young kids is watching them develop. It is amazing to see them learn so fast. They are really so smart for only being on the planet for less than 730 days.

I am an advocate an early learning literacy and think it is important that children attend group read aloud as well as read at home. I think that outside play is an important part of every child’s development. Both guided and independent play are essential to their development of their fine and gross motor skills. I believe that child guided activities are how children gain more confidence and independence.
