I love engaging children in creative and fun activities that spark their imagination and support their development. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading stories, outdoor play, sensory activities, building with blocks or Legos, and playing educational games. I also enjoy helping with homework and creating simple routines that keep things fun and structured. Most importantly, I tailor activities to each child’s interests and age to ensure they feel happy, safe, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting, supportive relationship with both the child and the family. It’s about creating a safe, loving environment where a child feels seen, heard, and encouraged to grow. Being consistent, reliable, and genuinely caring makes a big difference not just in daily routines, but in helping shape a child’s confidence, happiness, and sense of security.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children who have a variety of special needs, including autism, ADHD, and developmental delays. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and clear communication. I adapt activities to meet each child's unique needs and provide a calm, supportive environment where they can feel safe and confident. I also work closely with parents to follow routines, therapy strategies, and communication styles that best support the child. It’s truly rewarding to build trust and help each child thrive in their own way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a shy little boy build the confidence to join a group activity at the park. Over time, with encouragement and patience, he went from standing on the sidelines to leading a game with the other kids. Seeing his smile and pride in himself was such a beautiful reminder of why I love this work watching children grow, thrive, and believe in themselves is truly the best part of being a nanny.
