A little bit about me

Hello! I am Paige Fastige and I have worked in child care for over a decade by nannying full time, being an Amazing Athletes coach going to hundreds of preschools, and even working as head teacher at two different preschools! I have a biology degree and love to create lesson plans and watch the children grow. I have amazing relationships with all of my families and past students, and still are in contact and babysit for them often! I am 29 years old and an identical twin! I am available to nanny by bringing the children to my house or driving to yours. I also have an identical twin with the same experience if you have multiple children and would appreciate two nanny’s for example taking care of a new born while the other takes care of the older children. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

As a head teacher I am used to doing lesson planning so I love to do crafts and fun learning activities with the kids. I love to get to know them and what they like and include emergent learning with their interest while updating families throughout the day with pictures!

In my classes I have had students with autism and also nannied for a child with ADHD and dyslexia!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I cherish the moments of getting to see them grow and support them through the hard times and best times. I strive to be someone I needed as a child, like Miss honey from Matilda. I love creating a safe space where the child feels loved and secure to make mistakes. It is most important for me to have a child feel safe, secure, and loved. My favorite moments are when they show me their interests and I get to teach them more about it! Watching them overcome challenges but trusting that I’ll be proud of them if they fail.
