More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have always loved working with kids. I started out as swim coach, teaching the littles to swim. I have previously worked in a childcare facility in CA where I grew up. I moved to reno for school and ended up staying to work full time as a teach at the ELCs. As of May, I am a full time assistant director at one of the Boys and Girls Club Early Learning Centers. I am looking to get back into nannying as I miss the 1:1 connection. I am available to start so long as I am given a 2 week notice.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
As a teacher I loved doing arts and crafts. As well as creating fun games for the kids to play during outside time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing about being a nanny is making sure that the children feel seen and heard and their needs are met. I also think communication with parents is a big thing and is very important.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with special needs children previously and as an assistant director I help deal with behaviors a lot. Some of the kids I interact with daily have special needs and it has never been an issue.
