Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Kids love to be outside so I enjoy taking them for a picnic at the park or even the backyard! My grandkids loved when we took a blanket out and had a day at the park playing and exploring ! I love to be silly and laugh ! Basically , I love doing what makes the child happy , life is so much easier when everyone is in a positive mindset !
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with several special needs children and children with severe behavioral issues. I worked in a fully inclusive program with SCOE and it was a beautiful learning experience. I’ve worked with children with autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and behavioral issues . Each has their own unique strengths and challenges, but I can say it is very rewarding having the opportunity to work with each of them and watch their growth and development!
