Hi there, my name is Paris! I’m 21 y/o and I was born and raised in Oklahoma.
I have 6 years of professional caregiving experience with children ranging from newborns to 15y/o. I enjoy caring for kids with special needs and plan to obtain an RBT Certification.
I am CPR, First-Aid, & AED certified. As well as an OPDR member.
Seeing how children experience life and being a part of their favorite memories is what I love most about being a nanny. The daily reminder that I can learn as much, if not more, from kids as they can learn from me is another perk.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked with Jovie as a sitter for about 5 months. My duties were diaper changes, school/activity transportation, and housekeeping. I made sure children of varying ages, capabilities, and behaviors were safe and entertained at all times. I have a bit of teen care experience as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking kids to the park and playing sports for some outdoor physical activity. I like to find crafts and challenges to do together when it is an inside day. I prefer to keep children off electronics, but when permitted, they usually get a good laugh out of my lack of gaming knowledge.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Security is the most important part of being a nanny. Apart from knowing they are protected physically, I want the children I care for to be confident that I am focused on their needs at all times. I take pride in the fact that my approaches to many situations leave positive and hopefully lasting impressions on families.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with plenty of special needs children. Professionally I’ve worked with autistic kiddos ranging from 1-12y/o. Before childcare, I participated in Special Olympics and would help with classmates in middle and high school mostly having Down syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had a young boy who was not a morning person. He would fuss, disobey, and have his heart set on one song by Danny Go! After a jam sesh drive to daycare, he was all smiles and wanted lots of affection. This is something that would happen quite frequently, but I could never get tired of it.
