Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I cared for children includes working as a classroom intern at Pomona Elementary, teaching dance classes and camps for children ages 3–12 at Absolute Dance, volunteering as an ASL Club sponsor and instructor, and completing elementary education field experiences while attending Colorado Mesa University.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...

The most important part about being a nanny...
Honestly, the most important part about being a nanny is just really connecting with the kids and making sure they feel safe and cared for with you. It’s not just “watching them,” it’s being someone steady they can trust, especially when things get overwhelming or they’re having big feelings.
For me, it’s also about patience and showing up with a calm, positive energy—even on the hard days. Kids pick up on everything, so creating a space where they feel understood and supported makes the biggest difference.
And I love being part of their little routines and milestones too, like helping them learn new things and just being someone consistent in their world.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes working in a special needs classroom during my classroom internship and field experiences while attending Colorado Mesa University. I also have personal experience through having a special needs cousin, which has helped me develop patience, understanding, and compassion.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are seeing children grow more confident, helping them learn new things, and creating fun memories together through crafts, games, reading, and everyday routines. I especially love watching kids get excited about something new they’ve learned or accomplished.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Grand Junction, CO: Taylor A.
Hi! My name is Taylor, and I would love the opportunity to work with your family. I grew up in a family of six, so I’ve always been surrounded by kids and naturally learned how to be patient, adaptable, and attentive to different needs.
I have over 6 years of experience working with children through Life Time’s Kids Academy, summer camps, and the rock wall, where I worked with ages ranging from 0–13. Through these roles, I’ve gained experience creating a fun and safe environment while also maintaining structure.
This past year, I nannied for a 1-year-old, which allowed me to build a strong, one-on-one connection and take on daily routines like meals, naps, and developmental activities. That experience showed me how much I enjoy being a consistent presence in a child’s life.
I genuinely love working with kids and take pride in being someone families can trust. I’m reliable, energetic, and caring, and I always aim to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
