Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Taught in the public sector for 3 years in special needs. I was then recruited by the private sector to work with an infant program for special needs in NC. After a few years, the NC MH/MR/SAS recruited me to work in their special needs adult workshop writing and fulfilling grants. My total time there was 7 years.
I moved back to Virginia for a job working with Bay Agency on Aging fulfilling a new grant for case management. Due to health issues, which have mostly been resolved, I left after 5.5 years. I have been an independent nanny/home health provider since, equaling over 25 years now.
