Hi, I'm Paul, a fifth generation Floridian who grew up in the Tampa Bay area. I have over a decade of experience caring for children from birth to young adults. I have virtually infinite patience, am attentive, interactive, and always do my best to exceed the expectations of the families I work with. Prior to pursuing my bachelor's degree in business administration; I was contemplating a career in education, completed training to become a preschool teacher, and began babysitting for local families. Though I am now in the information technology field full-time; I continue to provide childcare services as my schedule allows. I specialize in last minute care, families visiting the area, date nights, one-time, and occasional evening and weekend care needs. My rate is negotiable based upon how many children I'm caring for, length of care, and what I'm expected to do while I'm with the children. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I completed all requirements to become a preschool teacher in Florida and had two years of experience with preschool aged children in a classroom environment while I was in high school. I also was a summer program counselor and then in a summer leadership role for several years while in high school.and college. Though I decided to pursue a career outside of the education field I ended up working for a company that produced specialty technical training and am currently in a professional role for a local school district. Since I found babysitting for families as a private childcare provider to be more rewarding than the classroom experience it is sometjing I have continued to do as my schedule allows. At this point I have worked with dozens of local families and visitors to the Tampa Bay area and would welcome the opportunity to put my experience to work for you!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I work with families to coordinate activities their children enjoy from indoor board games, creative play and crafts to outside playground visits, nature walks, and sports.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My primary focus is always the safety and wellbeing of children in my care, which is why I maintain current CPR and first aid provider certifications as well as having completed specialty trainkng related to water safety and other areas. I do my best to provide the level of high quality care that I'd want for my own children by creating a fun and safe child-friendly environment for the children in my care.
