Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as an au pair for 2 years (first year taking care of twin babies), and second year taking care of three kids (ages 1, 4 and 6). I also have experience from Brazil such as babysitting and I also worked as a volunteer at an NGO that helped children in need. Also, when I was 17, I worked at a school for a few months so I could get some experience with kids. Over there, I used to take care of 10 kids from the ages 3-5, all by myself.

Helping them develop their skills, reading together, arts and crafts, taking them to the park or play dates, cooking.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I taught sign language and words in Portuguese (my native language) to the twin babies I took care of. They could barely say put words together but that they knew was pé (foot in Portuguese).
