My experience with special needs children...
I have a almost 2 year old baby cousin with autism and I am experienced with his condition and learning more and more every day, I also have watched a 5 year old girl, with diabetes and I did her blood sugar checks, check foods she was able to/not to have. I also have a older sister who was diagnosed with diabetes and over time learned more and more about diabetes and the symptoms and signs of low blood sugar, high blood sugar, what to and no to do in those situations.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is when I recently watched my neighbors 1 year old boy while there oldest daughter had a softball tournament from 8am - 2pm an hour away, and at first he was hesitant and just woke up, but how in 2 hours after they left he had a snack and played for a few then was getting sleeping and I rocked him in nursery chair till he fell asleep then waking up to curl up on me and fall asleep again and an 1 1/2 went by and he woke up and he could t stop laughing and giggling and it melted my heart knowing I just made a little friend
