I believe that a child's best form of communication is through play! With that being said, I am open to all forms of activities that children feel drawn to whether that be reading, outside activities, puzzles, or creative/imaginative activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure every child's need is met in a way that is unique to them is what matters most to me as a nanny. Every child expresses emotions/thoughts differently and has different preferences when it comes to playing, communication, problem-solving, etc. So, making sure a healthy, trusting, and nurturing relationship with the child is established is a key aspect for me when making sure I can meet their every need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

During my time spent as a daycare teacher, we emphasized learning sign language so that the younger children had a form of communication when they needed something. It was always my absolute favorite when the kids would express their needs/thoughts such as "water, milk, thank you, please, etc." because it showed me their resilience within their development!
