The most important part about being a nanny...
Creating a safe & enjoyable space for a child that I would expect and want for my own one day! My mom is a teacher and for a handful of years I had to have a nanny while she worked. While I was growing up my nanny was my best friend and someone who my parents and I both trusted with my life! That's the type of impact I would like to make :)

Currently, I am a traveling preschool teacher within the city. Previously, I was a nanny for 3 month old (to start) twin girls, and an occasional 2 year old boy and a boy who was 9 months in age, and had been his nanny since 7 weeks. I was also an assistant teacher at a preschool where I took care of up to 4 babies under 12mo on my own. I am looking for a part time nanny/nanny-share/household manager position with up to 3 children. I have been trained in infant and adult CPR, food handling, and SIDS. I also have experience with teaching babies beginner sign language, sleep training, and other skills, such as holding their own bottles and learning to crawl and walk.

I am a student, with no children of my own yet. My favorite part of taking care of a child is when they use a new skill that I have taught them. I value communication, honesty, and efficiency. I love organization and can remember a schedule very well.
