Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I believe that children should be encouraged to explore their imagination, as I once was myself, and love to do crafty activities from simply coloring, to building an outdoor fort together! I also enjoy having the children explore the outdoors overall, and will provide the children opportunities to get outside and have fun whenever allowed.

Parents are not the only influential people in a child's life, the community is. It takes a village to raise a child, and rather than a shut off robot that only completes task, I like to take on a big sister role, one I have the most experience with, helping raise my own 3 younger brothers.

While working for My Heavenly Angels, a child who had a hard time opening up to the staff decided I was his comfort person, and would come and climb into my lap whenever he no longer felt like playing during free-time. I found that he enjoyed less stimulating free activities, such as listening to music, and made it my side goal to introduce him to as much music as he liked within my power. Though I no longer work there, I do hope he still enjoys listening to Disney's Moana soundtrack as much as he did then.
