I am seeking part-time, seasonal, or full-time employment, with a focus on working with kids. My experience has made me both patient and energetic, and I excel at creating fun, structured, and educational activities. My summer schedule is very flexible, allowing me to adapt to meet needs.

I have childcare experience with newborns, toddlers, and children, responsible for 1 to 3 kids at a time. My duties included meal preparation, organizing activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a variety of activities with children that are both fun and supportive of their growth. I love reading books together, doing arts and crafts, and spending time outside—whether it’s at the park or just playing in the yard. I also enjoy pretend play, singing and dancing, and finding creative ways to incorporate learning through games or simple activities. Most importantly, I try to follow each child’s interests and energy to help them feel supported, engaged, and happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and their family. Kids thrive when they feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Being that steady, positive presence in their life is such a privilege. It’s not just about watching them, but really knowing them, meeting them where they are, and helping them grow with patience, kindness, and consistency. When a child feels secure and connected, everything else—learning, playing, growing—naturally follows. The most important thing is knowing how to help your nanny kids grow rather than just “watching” them.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children comes from one-on-one volunteer tutoring and group settings with kids ages two to six. I worked closely with children who were nonverbal or deaf, using and teaching American Sign Language to support communication and inclusion. With younger children, I focused on basic play and social development, while with older ones I incorporated early reading skills, music activities, and sign language lessons both as a learning tool and a fun way to expand their communication. These experiences taught me to be patient, adaptable, and deeply attentive to each child’s unique needs and strengths.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments has been with the two-and-a-half-year-old I care for. When we first started, she was a little shy, but now she fully dives into pretend play with me—whether we’re cooking in her play kitchen, taking care of her stuffed animals, or making up little stories together. It’s such a sweet feeling to see her trust me enough to be silly, imaginative, and totally herself. I love when kids start to see me more as a fun, safe friend they can be themselves around—not just the nanny.
