A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Phoebe Kebabian and I am moving to Atlanta Georgia from Connecticut. I have always enjoyed working with kids to adults, and all those across the spectrum. I'm a working actress as well and enjoy setting up puppet shows with individuals I have worked with, having us all come up with character names, plot, writing it out, then putting on a show together. Thank you for reading and I look forward to hearing from you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teachers assistant for two years working with 2-3 year olds, I was a camp counselor for one summer in college working with 9-12 year olds (we did swimming and ropes course), I worked for one season with kids with special needs at a preschool, I nannied a brother and a sister (5 and 2 at the time) for a summer, I did my college practicum working in a first grade classroom, 1 year as a special ed para at a high school (and helped with track and field as well as theater), and worked with adults (22-70 years of age) across the spectrum for two years before moving to Georgia.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Coloring, painting, playing/building forts, playing with toy cars with my nieces (who are 3 and 4), running outside, biking, video games, and going out in the community to various places (shopping, parks).

The most important part about being a nanny...

Keeping the child/ren safe, and letting the kids be kids. Going on fun adventures while having it still be educational.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for preschool age one summer, I was a special ed para at a high school one year going into integrated classrooms as well as helping two students who were both wheel chair bound and nonverbal, helped a student with autism after school as she had track meets, and cared for adults (22-70 year olds) across the spectrum at a day program in Connecticut for two years before moving down south.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is seeing the child's expression when they achieve their goals, especially academically, but it could also be cooking something or even tying their shoe.

Kennedy J. - Seeking Work in Atlanta

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Atlanta, GA: Kennedy J.

Hi, my name is Kennedy and I’m 20 years old. I love working out, eating lots of fruit, my favorite color is brown and I love to sing Disney music. I’ve worked with children for over two years, in aftercare, as a teacher’s assistant, and with siblings and family. What I enjoy most about working with kids is that they’re far from the “ignorant” reputation people give them. They’re smart, curious, and require you to see the world through an optimistic, light-filled lens that adulthood doesn’t always allow. I appreciate everything I gain from working with kids just as much as what I’m able to give them.
