I have 550+ hours of hands-on experience with children through seven semesters of practicum in elementary schools and Early Childhood Head Start classrooms, including infant, toddler, preschool, and kindergarten settings. I also volunteered in childcare at Hill City Church in Springfield every Sunday for one semester.

I have personal experience with special needs children through growing up with my older brother, who has autism.
