A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Piper. I’ve always enjoyed working with children, I have had several babysitting jobs and I’ve worked in a licensed childcare center for over two years and i’m currently working at a preschool in Pasadena. Along with “on the job” training I have my CDA, First Aid and CPR, and 120 hours of early childhood classes.
I’m from southeast Alaska, I can offer cultural lessons about my home, and can even teach a couple important phrases in Tsimshian!
I’m good with all age groups, but I thrive with younger ones between the ages of 8 weeks- 5 years old. I assisted teaching preschool and creating a strong curriculum so i’m very comfortable with homeschooling if necessary.
Some of my accomplishments include graduating high school almost 2 years early, being congratulated by a former governor on being one of the youngest to be approved for a variance in Alaska, holding a spot on the FLCC board, and being promoted from caregiver to assistant administrator in under a year.
