Hi! I’m Preslie! I’m a student at Weber State University, where I cheer on the Weber State Cheer Team. I’ve been babysitting for years and have been a nanny for two amazing families. I love working with kids and helping them learn, play, and have fun in a safe and caring environment.

I’m dependable, patient, and love staying busy. I’m happy to help with cooking, cleaning, laundry, transportation, homework, errands, or anything else that helps make your family’s day easier.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered at Open Doors in Clearfield, where I worked with children in a preschool setting, helping with activities, learning, and playtime. I’m also have worked with preschool-aged children through Weber State, which has given me even more hands-on experience supporting children’s learning and development. These experiences have taught me how to create a fun, safe, and positive environment where kids can learn, grow, and feel loved.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping kids active, engaged, and having fun! Some of my favorite activities include going to the park, playing outside, doing arts and crafts, baking, reading books, playing games, building forts, going on walks, swimming, riding bikes or scooters, doing simple science experiments, playing sports, helping with homework, having movie nights, and coming up with fun indoor activities on rainy days. I enjoy finding activities that match each child’s interests while creating a safe, fun, and positive environment.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and dependable environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. I believe in being patient, positive, and someone both kids and parents can trust. Building strong relationships, encouraging learning through everyday activities, and helping children grow while making their days fun is what I enjoy most about being a nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

I was a special needs aid for 2 years in high school! I have worked with maybe special needs children and love them with my whole heart!

The most important part about being a nanny...

For the last family I nannied the kids loved to be in water! One time we did a water baloon fight and I have never heard kids laugh so hard in their life. It was so much fun!
