More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience caring for children in my family and for families in my community. I’ve helped with daily routines like preparing meals, helping with homework, bedtime routines, and keeping children engaged in fun and safe activities. I treat every child like they are part of my own family and always focus on making them feel safe, loved, and supported. I also worked in the hospital taking care of children and making sure they feel better.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing creative and fun activities with children such as arts and crafts, drawing, reading books together, playing outdoor games, going on walks, and helping them learn new things. I also love encouraging their imagination through play while making sure they are safe and happy. I also love making cleaning up a fun activity so they can learn to clean after ourselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, loved, and cared for while their parents are away. I believe in creating a positive environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported, while also respecting the family’s values and routines.
My experience with special needs children...
I have personal experience caring for a child with medical needs. My little brother was born very early at 25 weeks and spent 9 months in the hospital, where he went through 8 surgeries, he had and still does have a g tube . Being part of his life and helping care for him taught me patience, compassion, and how important it is to pay attention to a child’s unique needs. It helped me become very understanding and attentive when caring for children who may need extra support.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are when a child feels comfortable, happy, and safe with me. Seeing them smile, laugh, and learn something new is always the most rewarding feeling. I love building a trusting bond with children and becoming someone they feel safe and excited to be around.
