More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been working with children for about 4 years now. I was a nanny for the summer before I got a job as an Infant and Toddler Teacher at a childcare center for about a year. Afterwards, I was a paraprofessional in special education preschool. I was a substitute at daycares around Utah, and have now been at a childcare center for a little over a year. I was the infant teacher and now I am the toddler teacher! I love creating bonds with children and I love teaching children every day.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing developmentally appropriate activities with children! I have experience creating and implementing lesson plans for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and I love creating fun and educational things for us to do. My favorite is probably sensory play or art, but I love doing different fine and gross motor activities, along with story time and music time. I think creating connections with children helps you create activities that they love and that help them learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me about being a nanny is creating amazing bonds with children and families. I love watching children grow and discover new things every day. It is such an amazing thing to be a part of.

I have about 8 months of experience working with children with special needs, specifically ages (3-5). I was a special education early childhood paraprofessional at an elementary school.
