A little bit about me

I am Raeesa (18), South African currently a live-in nanny in Milan for 2 boys aged 4 and 6 until late June 2018 (will be more than happy to write a reference upon request or have a personal conversation over the phone). I have 2 years experience working with kids. I am fluent in English and I have a good knowledge of Afrikaans + I am first aid trained.


I would much prefer a live in situation. If this is not ideal for your family I can offer my services for just the summer. I have always had a passion working with children. I am talkative, I love to laugh and my friends/family consider me to be quite a humorous character.


Job: getting the children ready for school, making breakfast, taking/fetching from school, making afternoon snacks, taking them to extra activities, helping with homework, making dinner, playing with them at the park, pool etc, light housework, babysitting occasionally and most importantly keeping them happy and making their life and yours easier.


I am patient. For me being able to communicate well is the most important factor when looking after children.I love travelling,hiking, gyming and field hockey. I enjoy cycling + visiting the beach.

Hobbies: violin and building puzzles. I love volunteering at underprivileged schools and getting to know their personalities, e.g activities I would do with the children are decorating cupcakes + finger painting. I enjoy baking/cooking which I do often. I did consumer studies as a subject in which they teach nutrition and how to follow a healthy lifestyle with the balance of exercising + eating correctly therefore i am able to cook healthy meals for your family.

I absolutely love children and enjoy the energy that they have. I'm excited to learn the different cultures and family dynamics of others, which will be both refreshing and insightful. I hope to entice your family with the rich South African culture that I have been fortunate to experience and teach them all the values that I have been taught.
