A little bit about me

I am 19 years old, I’ve had a passion with working and caring for kids since I could remember. Outside of being a babysitter/nanny I work as a caregiver for the elderly, assisting them with daily cares and needs and also preparing meals and activities. My senior year of high school I took a teachers course where I taught kids ages 3-5. Within the school year I taught my students everything they needed to know such as writing their names, knowing their age, how to be kind to one another and much more. I was also a peer mediator growing up in school helping my peers solve conflicts between each other. I am an older sister to my 4 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters. Having to watch and care for my siblings when my parents left the home Is when I grew a passion for caring for kids. I love that I can bring a smile to a child’s face and a feel of comfort when parents aren’t around.
