A little bit about me

My name is Rama. Ramita is my nickname. I’m from Jordan, I came to United States on the 27th of October, 2018. I am 22 years old, still a college student, and I am majoring in “SOCIOLOGY.”
I studied in Cypress Ridge High school. I was in a volleyball team when I was in high school, and I was part of a dance group. I have been dancing since I was 10 years old, performing on a stage, theatre, and making my own choreography. I loved it and I’m still working on my dancing skills! I have been always caring about the career that I chose to work with/in. I have been working with preschoolers for four years. Being surrounded by them makes me feel released, blessed, and gleeful. As well as being a trust worthy person to their parents.
I worked as a host when I was in Jordan. I adored it. Therefore, that is how I knew what I wanted in a career. Fast-paced environments, multi-task, learning different things everyday, and learning it in a
flash. LOVE IT!

I worked in multiple childcare centers, I started working at chrysalis christian preschool, now I work in children’s lighthouse! I’m also a camp counselor at Awty international school!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have a lot of experience in everything. I always wanted to make myself full of things that I would love to teach my kids about it! That’s why I’ve been growing, and gaining a lot of skills so I can provide it to all the children, and I can see what they are interested in, and I can help them improving it in them! I did dancing, cheerleading, and volleyball team in high school! I have a little of swim skill “still taking lessons”, I have soccer, pickle ball experiences! I also love to do crafts, and reading books to children!

Supervising children that their parents trusted me with, and having a healthy funny routine is everything a kid should have!

I didn’t work with special needs children before, so I don’t have experience working with them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I remember one of the children that I did babysit before had to learn how to split, and her mom told me to teach her because I know how. She has to learn because of her ice skating class! It was funny and I’d say a core memory for me and her daughter!
