Since 2012, I have been volunteering in the nursery and preschool at my church every Sunday. I am 1 of 10 siblings, which I have cared for them and babysat. Over the summers, I volunteer with kids outreach programs and work with children in the area playing games and ensuring their safety.

My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children on the autism spectrum, both high and low functioning, a child with cerebral palsy, and a child with a seizure condition. Through all of these experiences, I learned how to remain calm during the times of high stress and keep the child safe. I enjoy working with children that sometimes need a little extra attention.
