More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve had several years of hands-on experience working with children of different ages. From [phone number hidden], I nannied for a 3-year-old boy throughout high school, which gave me a strong foundation in patience, creativity, and building trust with young kids.
From [phone number hidden], I also worked as a teacher’s assistant at a local Montessori school, supporting children ranging from infancy to 10 years old. That experience really shaped my approach to childcare—I value independence, gentle guidance, and creating a calm, engaging environment where kids can learn and grow.
In 2021, I graduated from phlebotomy school and have been working in healthcare since then. During that time, I earned my BLS, CPR, and infant life support certifications, which strengthened my sense of responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to stay calm in any situation.
More recently, in 2023, I worked as a private, as-needed nanny for a 2-month-old baby girl, gaining experience with newborn care and routines.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoors, I enjoy things like arts and crafts, reading together, building forts, imaginative play, and simple learning games that encourage curiosity and creativity. I also like incorporating Montessori-style activities that help build independence and confidence.
Outdoors, I love getting kids moving and exploring—whether that’s going to the park, playing games, going on little nature walks, or just finding ways to be active and enjoy fresh air. I’m big on balancing fun with meaningful interaction, so kids feel both entertained and supported.

My experience with special needs children...
I do have experience working with special needs children through my background in healthcare. While working as a phlebotomist starting in 2021, I frequently cared for and drew blood from children with a variety of special needs and sensitivities.
That experience taught me how to approach each child with patience, empathy, and adaptability. I became very comfortable reading cues, adjusting my approach based on the child’s comfort level, and helping them feel as safe and calm as possible in what can be a stressful environment.
