A little bit about me

Hi! I’m a loving and committed Filipina nanny. I am here to help you in taking good care of your children. I was an au pair for 2 years and 6 months. I took care of multiple children including a child with Angelman’s syndrome. I tutored them and helped them with their homework. I am also a licensed teacher in the Philippines, and I graduated with a Special Education degree. I love to play with kids, read them storybooks, teach them in their lessons, and go outside like playing in the park, swimming, or walking. Not only that I have experience in taking care of multiple, older kids but also, I have experience in taking care of a 7-month-old baby until her toddler years. I am responsible with a high sense of situational awareness, dedicated, and loving around children. I am the eldest and have two younger siblings. Taking care of children is something that I am passionate about ever since I got here in the US.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I also volunteered for 2 years in a Special Education center where we play, teach, help, feed snacks, and served like a genuine companion to children with special needs after their school. In our SpEd center, we collaborate with other volunteers, teachers, and parents to help meet the needs of each child. We set objectives for the day, making sure that the children are socializing with one another, play- time, sing nursery rhymes, eat healthy snacks, and talk to their parents about their expectations. As a volunteer, we teamwork with the local government to help the marginalized families financed the need of their child such as hearing aid, eyeglasses, doctor's appointment fees, provide learning materials, and more.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading books.
Biking outside.
Swimming or going to the beach (I am a strong swimmer).
Playing Legos.
Watching a movie together (only if the parents allow them to).
Cooking/ baking together in the kitchen.
Walking to the park and outside play.
Picnicking.
Dancing and singing with the kids.
Help their schoolwork.
Snuggles.
Playing Roblox (I took care of a kid that is into online games).

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is genuine love and care to the children including their safety, their diet, learning, and fun experiences to be cherished.

My experience with special needs children...

Volunteer in a Special Education center for two years, from 3:00- 5:00PM every Wednesdays.
I took care of a 11-year-old boy with Angelman’s Syndrome for 1 whole year full time when I was an au pair.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is snuggling. I love it when the child and I are deeply connected when he/she felt like I am an older sister to them. I always say that I love them, and I am here to keep them safe and well taken care of. One thing that I boast as an experienced childcare provider is my genuine love and concern for children.

Niandi M. - Seeking Work in San Francisco

Babysitter Available in San Francisco, CA: Niandi M.

With over two decades of experience working with children, my career has evolved from teaching and childcare administration to pediatric OT services, and spending the last 9.5 years as a dedicated, full-time nanny. This blend of developmental insight and educational experience allows me to support families with a deeply informed, holistic approach.

I am a strong advocate for respectful, structured, and child-led growth. In my daily practice, I focus on:
*Routine & Boundaries
* Respectful Communication: Talking to children clearly while treating them as capable individuals.
* Developmental Milestones: Actively supporting age-appropriate milestones

Above all, I believe in following a child’s unique interests to foster a love for learning. I once cared for a child who was obsessed with garbage trucks, so every garbage day, we turned our morning into a truck-spotting safari!
I bring expertise, enthusiasm, and peace of mind to the families I partner with.
Luara S. - Seeking Work in San Francisco

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in San Francisco, CA: Luara S.

I'm creative, caring, and very responsible. I truly enjoy working with children and being part of their daily lives. For me, it's not just about supervision it's about connection. I love watching kids grow, learn new things, and become more independent.

I started working with children in Brazil and have been living in the U. S. for the past two years, caring full-time for infants and toddlers. I'm comfortable with routines, meal times, naps, playtime, and helping with emotional development.

I'm looking for a family that values trust and open communication. I like to work as a team with parents and create a safe, positive, and loving environment for their child.

Families should know that I genuinely care. When I'm with a child, I'm fully present. Safety is always my priority, and I treat every child with respect, patience, and kindness.

My main strengths are creating engaging activities, maintaining structure and routine, and offering emotional support.
