caring for children includes helping at my grandmother’s daycare, tutoring children through the Adaptive Growth and Cultural Advancement Organization, volunteering in my community, working as a Recreation Assistant, helping with youth basketball camps, and working with children with special needs through my high school’s Ambassadors Club.

playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading books, playing outside, going on walks, getting ice cream, singing, and finding fun and creative activities that keep children engaged. I also enjoy helping children learn new things and encouraging them to explore their interests.

is making sure the child feels safe, comfortable, happy, and cared for. I believe it is important to be patient, responsible, and dependable while also making the time fun and engaging. I want children to feel like they can be themselves, learn new things, and enjoy their time together.

comes from being involved in my high school’s Ambassadors Club and Friends Club, where I had the opportunity to spend time with and build friendships with students with special needs. I was also Student Council President, where I helped create “Special Night,” an event that brought together students with disabilities from all three schools in my county for a fun night of basketball and activities.
