The most important part about being a nanny...
Treating kids like people- cause they are! It's so important to treat kids with respect and like equals. Children are so smart and we can learn so much from them. I will never tell a child "because I say so," rather I will always take the time to explain my views and feelings and allow them to explain theirs!
My experience with special needs children...
A dear family friend's son is a 9-year-old autistic boy, who often spends time at my house while his father is working. We do art, make food and watch Peppa Pig. He is such a sweetheart and one of my favorite people on this planet!
