A little bit about me

Hello, I am currently a senior at Chapman University majoring in integrated educational studies. I want to become an elementary special education teacher as my career. I am caring, responsible, sweet, energetic, and trustworthy. I like working with kids and being a role model for them to look up. I have been a babysitter for the past nine years. I have experience working as a nanny, camp counselor, and birthday party leader for Monarchs Gymnastics. Being a camp counselor was a rewarding experience because I was able to watch kids grow and teach them new skills. For the birthday parties at Monarchs, I was in charge of coming up with fun games and obstacles for the children. I also supervised the children on the gymnastics equitment to ensure that all kids were playing safe. I also helped set up party materials and served food to the families party guests. I enjoyed being able to be creative and come up with interactive games depending on the age of the kids at the birthday party. My duties as a nanny was to play with the children while the mothers worked from home ran errands, prepared meals for the child, and took them on walks. I have experience working with kids ranging from the ages of 3 to 11. I will be availiable in the summer to nanny part-time but I am flexible.
