More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a nanny in the Washington DC area from January to June of 2024. My client had two girls ages four and eight.
I’ve also worked in the schools and at Sanyu Babies Home (orphanage) in Uganda for a total of six months and engaged with infants and children of one years old to eight years old.
In addition, I am training to become a birth doula and yoga teacher and just love working with children!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite activities include going on walks/bike rides to the park, playing games, reading and telling stories, singing songs, and dance parties!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is to be present, safe, and to offer unconditional love and understanding.
I’ve found that children often feel misunderstood. If they can be respected and granted a judgement free space to grow, aside from making sure their physical needs are met, I feel that I’ve done my job.

My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have any special experience working with special needs children besides the interactions I had with them at Sanyu Babies Home in Uganda, but I do love them and am sensitive to whatever their needs may be.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There are so many, but if I had to choose, my favorite nanny moments were in Virginia on the drives to and from activities, listening to our favorite songs; playing “The Big Bad Wolf” at random when we’d be out and about on a walk/bike ride, and reading stories just before bedtime.
