I worked in preschools for about 6 years and have been a full time nanny for 4 years now. I have worked with every age group and I love them all! I also babysit on the weekends and evenings.

I love going outdoors with children! Whether we go to the park, take a walk through the neighborhood, or just sit on the back porch for a picnic. I enjoy reading with children and doing arts and crafts! I love to plan fun and enriching activities. The most important part of being a nanny is being engaged with your children. Constantly moving, learning, and playing. Children learn through play and it is so important to make sure children are engaging with their surroundings and with you.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with autism, adhd, down syndrome, as well as other physical and mental disabilities. I currently am a home health aid, part time for 2 years, for a child with down syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many favorite nanny moments! One of them would have to be when I was nannying afterschool with several children. Two of the children were foster children and one of them was an infant and the other was two. The two year old was having difficulty learning to speak and we all worked so hard with him on it! The day he said to me "I love you Becca" for the first time has to be one of my favorite memories ever!!
