I started out babysitting for an after school job just to earn some money to buy the things my mother thought was unnecessary to buy with her hard earned cash, after a few weeks or babysitting I learned that babysitting was not just a side job it was my passion (also learned money wasn’t meant to be spent on unnecessary things when u worked so hard for it ) on April 2011 I knew what I would be doing for the rest of my life, taking care of our future.

The most important part of being a nanny to me would be the joy the children bring to your life , the endless laughter, the hop for a better future.

I have only cared for special needs children in my family, it was super easy because I already knew the routine that was required for the day.

My best moment as a nanny, I remember when I had my first nanny job with a new born . When I first meet the family I was so nervous because I have never cared for a new born outside of my family ..I had this nanny job until he was a year old, one day he mom told me he wouldn’t walk & she wanted him to walk on his birthday ,so that week I practice with him every day .when he came to my house that next day which was earlier than usual, I had a banana and I showed him the banana I held it out to him and I said mommy wants to see you walk can u walk for mommy while recording the whole thing for her . It took him all about four seconds to gather his thoughts and then he started to walk ,after that day, he walked every single day I was happy and also sad because I knew once he turned one he was no longer going to be with me. I enjoyed every moment with him. I wouldn’t change it for anything.
