Activities I enjoy doing with children...

enjoy creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development while making learning fun. Some of my favorite activities include reading, library visits, trips to parks and playgrounds, museums, sensory play, puzzles, arts and crafts, nature walks, and outdoor exploration.

With infants I enjoy tummy time, music, books, baby sign language, and activities encouraging, developmental milestones. For toddlers and older children, I enjoy imaginative play, science experiments, baking community outings, and helping children build independence and confidence.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is building a relationship based on mutual respect, trust, and communication. I think the best childcare happens when both the parents and caregivers are working as a team toward the same goal: helping the child(ren) thrive.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience supporting children in private home settings. Most recently, I worked with a 14-year-old autistic teen, providing support with daily routines, emotional regulation, communication, community outings, and independent living skills. My responsibilities included assisting with personal care and hygiene routines, reinforcing expectations, and helping maintain structure and consistency throughout the day. I also collaborated with parents and ABA providers to support his individual goals. My approach is centered on patience, flexibility, positive reinforcement, and adapting care to each child's unique strengths and needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments wasn't a single event, but watching a child I cared for from a 5-month-old baby grow into a thoughtful, kind preschooler. Over the years, I helped support his development, routines, and social skills, and it was incredibly rewarding to see him become the child he became.
What stood out most was how often people commented on his kindness. He was the type of child who would say "please," "thank you," and "I'm sorry," and actually meant it. Watching him grow into someone who treated others with empathy and respect made me feel like I had played a small part in helping him become a wonderful little person.
